Just a note for you guys. EMLA Max is available without a prescription and it is supposed to be less of a vasoconstrictor than the EMLA. I don’t use the cream on my 2 1/2 yr old because he doesn’t cry at his blood draws.  I’m sure it will be the opposite for my new little guy to be born in a few weeks. He also has CAH.
