Medic Alert will use a child-sized emblem (the part that is engraved), and cut the bracelet to fit.  Be sure you have a tape measure on hand when you call; they will have you measure her wrist and add a certain number of inches.  I can’t remember right now if it was 2 or 3 that they had me add.  When she outgrows it, you can have a jeweler extend the bracelet by adding links or removing the emblem and attaching it to a longer chain.  When I’ve had Gavin’s worked on, I’ve called ahead and explained that it is medical I.D. item, and they work on it while I wait, so that he doesn’t have to be without it for long.
