Danny CarltonCAH is rare enough that it’s fairly impossible to establish any sort of support group based in any specific area. There’s generally not enough people to make a support group, within a reasonable distance. Most of us see this board as our support group.
Although I have noticed that there are quite a number of rare conditions that fall within certain descriptions that it might be possible to establish one with a broader base, but I don’t know of any that exist. I am on the Family Sub-Committee of the Oklahoma Genetics Advisory Counsel, and I’ve noticed that our meeting do seem to turn into a sort of temporary supprt group when we get together, even with the variation in conditions involved.
