Two questions to throw out there

Our 2 year son old has classic CAH diagnosed at 4 weeks old He has been treated with prednisone since that time. He is consiostanly well below the curve on growth. It does not seem that prednisone is as common a treatment method as cortef.  Has anyone experienced any growth related issues with Prednisone. We have lowered the dose and and seen some  better results recently. For a while the endo speculated that he was GHD. But those levels have improved with time

 

CHIARI Malformation

Our son was just diagnosed with a CHIARI malformation just wondering if this same CAH/CM combination has shown up with any other parents.

We do not have a PC in the home so do not expect any quick response to questions
