Confused -  if you only get sick every year or so you are very lucky. I spend at least a third of every winter with sinus problems and do tend to get a lot of things my students get. I did just get a flu shot but last year and the year before I wasn’t quite 100% (sinus stuff) and felt much worse after the shot - this year my sinuses are good so far and I did have the flu shot without problems last week. As for the hepititis shots - ummmmmm - I don’t think so for me.

Does stress tend to weaken your immune system? That seems to be the number one thing for me.I just came off of two full days of doing conferences and I’m beat. Headache, really tired tonight - took some evtra steroids this afternoon too. That stress is the thing that will bring me to my knees (ok - That and God - haha).  I missed 10 days of work total last year. None of it was faked either - I really was sick.
