Just wondered if what your opinions on this jab are. Here in the UK people with cah are legible to have it. My son who is 15 has been ill twice in a month the first time he had to go into hospital and was on an iv drip for 3 days, he was throwing up, had a sore throat & head and also a temp of between 39.5 and 40.3 the normal is about 36.5-37.5. At the moment he is ill again with the same temp, sore throat and areally bad cough. He has been sick a couple of times during the night so I gave him a injection of hydrocortisone and have increased his normal dose and I also have given him paracetamol. I took him to the doctor yesterday and he gave him antibiotics and a cough bottle.

The strange thing is he has never really been ill  for over 2 years and has not needed his dosage increased for stress at all, in fact he is the eldest of my 2 boys with cah and is on a lower dose than his younger brother, the elder takes 22.5mg of hydrocortisone a day and the younger one takes 35mg a day and they are both on the same dose of fludrocortisone.

Would love to hear your opinions on the subject .We are going to see the consultant tomorow so I will see what he advises then
