Hi Cathy I am also from the UK and have wondered the same things as you regarding the flu jab. My son is also 15 - what area in the UK do you live? I know that there has been a nasty flu like virus that has been doing its rounds and just as you think you are over it, it appears again. I guess it depends on what strain of flu the jab covers. Please let us know what your endo advises.  Good luck
