What tests are necessary to determine if my child has Non Classical CAH?
Nov. 11th, 2003   11:21am

Our pediatrician thinks my three year old son might have Non Classical CAH.  He recommended that we see an endocrinologist or he could do an ACTH Stimulation test himself to find out if he is really has it.  Since I don’t want my son to miss out from school I would rather do it in his office but he doesn’t know what to test for.  Could anyone suggest where I could find information on this test or is there anyone who knows what levels my doctor will need to check?  Also, is there a specific time in the day, like in the afternoon, when this test needs to be done or could he do it anytime?

Thanks
