SandyMy pediatrician isn’t all that ignorant. He knows that he will need to do an ACTH stimulation test (or whatever they call it) but just doesn’t know which levels to check for. Besides for missing school there are other things involved that will make a visit to an endocrinologist very hard on us. We’ll need to travel very far and we don’t own a car. That alone wouldn’t be so bad if not for the fact that my son has a very hard time dealing with motion sickness to the point where I walk him to school every single day. If the diagnosis will be made and I’ll end up having to see an endocrinologist anyway I’ll have to deal with it then but now, as long as I can prevent it I’d rather save the trip.
Thanks
Sandy
