My daughter takes liquid pedia-pred, but she was 5 days old when she started taking her florinef pill.  We just stick it in her mouth & give her a swig out of her bottle for her to swallow it.  She’s now 7-12 months old and has never had a problem swallowing it.  Have you tried giving him the pill?
