I was thinking that maybe she was retaining fluid in her stomach area. A year or so ago, my father (not CAH) seemed to be gaining a ton of weight but only in his stomach area. His weight didn’t increase all that much it didn’t seem, but we were really worried that he might have a tumor or something. His doctor checked him all out and thought it might be fluid even though nothing else was swollen. He put him on a fluid pill and down the stomach went, like a balloon deflating.

I know that my CAH girls sometimes retain a little fluid due to the salt and Cortef. Not sure if this will help, but thought I would share.
