I’m not trying to compare a typical baby who also happens to have CAH with other children his age.  My son went through allot recently.  He was very alert and active when he was little but than he was taken off treatment for a few month and ever since he was showing a great deal of setbacks.  Even now, a month after being back on treatment again he is still not catching up at the pace we expected he would.  Though he is advancing rather than continuing to lag even more behind, as was the case when he wasn’t being treated.  I’m starting to fear if the lack of treatment for so long could have resulted in any permanent damage?
