Hi Raj,

I took dex for a short time during the beginning of my pregnancy and I can tell you that the side effects of excess weight gain, migrains, some sleeplessness and anxiety lasted for a few months after I stopped the dex. In hindsight, I would not have stopped the dex cold turkey. I’m not sure though how it would work switching from the dex to the cortef. Maybe your dex dose was too high causing you those uncomfortable side effects. I would say to give it a  little longer but don’t wait or hesitate to get help if it gets too bad.
