Hi Megan,

I just thought I would add my input on the osterprosis subject.  I have been on cortisone or prednisone almost my entire life.  When I was 20 I went to the doc due to some ongoing leg pain.  It turns out I had devoloped some spiral micro fractures in my lower left leg (probably from running on a tread mill).  The bone scan that revealed the fractures also indicated that I have osteopenia (milder form of osteoporosis from what I understand).  This condition is a side effect of chronic prednisone treatment.  I am trying to learn about other options besides drug threapy for my condition.
