I sure used to worry about the same thing when it all started.  We’ve never really had to say much of anything as far as "explaining" goes.     

Our 10 yr old swcah girl has always been beyond her years as far as understanding her body.  Maybe it was all the dr visits, labs, everyone peeking, surgeries, we’re not real sure.  She knows everything about her body and why the dr’s and we as parents have made the decisions we have.  When necessary we said little things along with way to make it simple for her to get and just took it as it came up. Being honest and direct with her worked out well.

It’s all been very matter of fact.  A part of her.  I pray this path with your daughter goes as well.  Natalie A
