have you talked with a genetic counselor?  most ob/gyn’s don’t know enough to make that call. 

i will tell you that my husband has cah and  i am a carrier, but didn’t know it till after my first child.  i didn’t take any meds, with our second child.  because i was a carrier of the nccah gene.  therefore if our child was to have cah, it would be nccah.  so we didn’t have to worry about the dex. 

the easy thing to do is talk with a genetic counselor. you can always get tested, i am sure that it would help answer most of your questions and fears.
