I would imagine that due to the required diligence that CAH demands, that any family facing it would need to either already have a certain amount of intelligence, or get it quickly. Many times intelligence is simply a matter of how seriously the person takes life. With CAH you have to adopt a significant amount of seriousness and diligence, which could then easily translate into other areas of your life.
