Toni it is very interesting that you post about some salt losing boys who are not immediately identified and had a severe crisis causing dehydration of the brain, this happened to my son.  I was told in fact that he would be slow due to the severe dehydration and we were very worried.  Thankfully he turned out not to be slow and is as intelligent as both his non CAH sisters, who are both professional people and have University hons degrees.  Danny I guess you mean that those who have children who have SWCAH need to have a certain amount of intelligence in order to deal with the condition - I guess this goes for many diseases eg Diabetes!
