We have similar protocal as Jenny. We call our pediatrician for fevers, and colds. But our endo does ask at each visit if we have had to triple dose or give any shots. She wants to know as I think it helps her get the whole picture. Our endo also sends updates to our pediatrician through letters. I would like to have our endo more involved in emergency situations but the reality is she is harder to get ahold of than our pediatrician. If you are thinking of switching endos consider if your endo listens to your concerns and is willing to try alternate things if needed, answers your questions, reads levels accurately and you feel comfortable with this person.
