Hi Alicia,

I’ve read your post several times this evening and just woke up in the middle of the night to respond.  In fact I am sitting here taking a very long time to properly compose a reply.

As you probably know, I also have CAH, and if you have been reading posts here for any amount of time, probably know I have not been without struggle.

Accepting that we were born with bodies that are different can be a difficult struggle, but I think that our own acceptance of our bodies leads to great healing.  Have you ever met anyone with CAH?

I spent over three decades thinking I was the only one because that what was fed to me throughout my life.  It wasn’t until I met another person like me that I began my own healing and journey of self-discovery.

It’s not an easy journey, and I understand the pain you are feeling because I have been there..  You can write me if you want (I’m in a little crisis with my living situation so I may take some time to reply)

Alicia, please remember that you are not alone in this world.  There are many of us out there, and many of us willing to be a helping hand to assist you with any difficulties you are in.

Betsy
