Rose - Good to hear from you. Have you tried medications besides prednisone? For me it made me feel suicidal and made my bones and shoulders ache. Dexamethasone works well for me. Hydrocortisone is another you can use. They are all slightly different.

I believe you are the oldest person with CAH who has posted in the 4 years I’ve been coming here. That’s great to hear - and yes a lot of us didnt know what we were doing with medication, etc. I was one of those - after several crises I finally figured it out. After comparing notes with quite a few CAHr’s there are things we have in common - anxiety, some have depression, dizziness, don’t tolerate heat well, headaches when dose is too low, excess hair growth  and of course lack of energy when cortisol is low.
