Danny CarltonDanny, I have taken your advise on talking to my son and letting him know that sometimes it is the CAH that makes him moody. I ask him if he is going to let CAH win each time and it helps him to rise above and laugh at himself. It doesn’t always end that way, but for the most part he does feel empowered when he is able to shake it off.
Cool. I’ve noticed Jonathan wins the battle (against the CAH induced mood) more and more frequently as he gets older.
In Genesis when Cain was mad at God, God said to him, "If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him." (Genesis 4:7) I use that verse with Jonathan, and he understands it better. He wants to rule his CAH, not the other way around.
