My husband and I have been starting to talk about having a child. At the age of 23, I finally went to an endocronlogist about my hormone problem that I have had my entire life and found out that I have CAH. Currently she has me on Predisone, a cortisol hormone, to keep all of my hormones at the correct level. Every six months I have a blood test done to make sure. Does anybody know if it is OK to take a cortisol during pregnancy to keep the hormones at the correct level? Do you discontinue when you become pregnant? Will it cause birth defects?Tracey
