I have always bruised easily, EXCEPT for when I went off steroids for awhile. While off the meds, it would take a huge whack, to produce a small bruise or sometimes no bruise at all.. As soon as I recommenced the steroids, (within a week), I had bruises all over me. Most of the time I do not even know how I get them. Now if I get a decent whack, I get a huge area of bruising.

It was such a startling and dramatic effect, I have no doubt that for me, the steroids cause the necessary conditions, for easy bruising.
