Does your EMS carry the injection of Cortef? Can they give yours if it is on site? If so, you are quite fortunate. Ours does not carry the meds and will assit someone in giving the shot but won’t do it on their own. It made me upset and I am trying to change this policy as we live 1/2 hour from the hospital. I felt a little better about leaving Zenya with a babysitter though because if we can’t get there before the ambulance, they can show the bbysitter how to give the shot (even though we’ve showed her it’d be nice to have some expertise there.)
