hi sandra

i will have to look at my kids results i can’t remember them off the top of my head.  i am sure that you remember that connor had been put on meds, per or local endo (he is the one that does then stim test im )  i want to say that connor’s 17ohp was 48’0 baseline and went up to 2300 at 60 mins.  and he said that he had cah per that  number.  then we got the genetic testing and got him off the meds, and took him to new york.  at new york they did not repeat the stim test.  so i don’t know the difference between im and iv.  now abby had the stim test done at new york and it was do iv and i want to say that her 17 ohp was around 400 baseline and it went up to 3500 at 60mins.  they have the same genetic mutations and about the same baseline. you might remember that both of my kids are classified as nccah.   i will say that i say big difference in cortisol level with the stim test.  connor’s baseline was 9 and went 17.  abby’s cortisol baseline was 9 and went to 35.

we i 100% agree with you there is no consistency in the treatment or the diagnosis of cah.  oh how i wish there was, but there isn’t.

i hope that everything continues to go well with your family.

take care
