Hi Risty,

I thought I answered the post but don’t know where it went. Good question. I’m not sure about the sodium results. I have always looked at renin and never paid too much attention to what it meant to have a high level vs. low. Maybe a high level would mean that he was dehydrated and that would be why it would show so high of a concentration. I will ask the endo at our next appt. What I find interesting is that she wanted me to give him a whole florinef pill right away that morning and a tsp of salt. Why would she say that if it was too high of sodium.

I also find it interesting that the fellow told me that because of all the acids in his blood he had a feeling something was wrong. That was why he called me too. I’m glad I did because I’m sure the regular endo would have insisted that this was a start of crisis.
