Danny CarltonA friend of mine told me about a company that offers very inexpensive reseller accounts. What that means is that instead of one account on a server, I’d have space on a server that I can divide among several sub-accounts -- each with their own disk space and bandwidth. I opened an account and set it up so that this site and the related sites (congenitaladrenalhyperplasia.net, congenitaladrenalhyperplasia.net and raredisease.org) can be on one account and all the rest of my stuff on another, with room to spare, for the same amount that I’m paying now. After I get it divied up I will have about 500meg of disk space and 3Gig of bandwidth (per month) for other accounts. I may try to develope some small, inexpensive accounts for family web site with built-in templettes and scripts for setting up photo albums, but that will take some time to develop.
Meanwhile I’m in the process of moving this site. When I do move it, I’ll try to make it a smooth transition. I’ll do it a domain at a time, and then redirect the other domains from this account to the one already on the other account, until all of them have been transfered. What this means for you guys is that in the next few days you may come here and find yourself redirected to one of the other domain names. The transition should only take about an hour and then everything will be back to normal, but on the new account.
