Yes, the weather was beautiful Christmas day.  So sunny (yet chilly) but we were able to go out and play for a while without our jackets.

We just bought a mini ranch, 21/2 acres and an inground pool (the first ever for me), and a beautiful horse barn with two boarded horses, and of course santa came early with a delivery of two Shetland Ponies for the girls to ride.  First day on and Gabby got thrown twice, Christi on the other hand was being bucked around SIDEWAYS on the horse busting  her seams with laughter.  Meanwhile, my heart was pounding out of my chest!!!  Gabby got up and got back on and managed to get the hang of riding a bit but she yelled out, I want to see the snow!!!  I suppose being thrown seemed wild compared to snowball fights!! :)  I hear the weather there has been rough, the Lord knows I don’t miss that but it rains a lot in the winter up north in Cal.  Being from San Diego this has been a surprise to me, but hey, who’s complainin’...I’m home.  Lots of mud to contend with at the moment on the ranch, and we had our well tested and it came back with ARSENIC in it.  Ho-hum, learnin about country life as we go along!  Culligan is going to make a mint off of us.  :)

Hoping you are all healthy and happy, hoping you enjoyed your holiday as well.
