Hi Fiona, you are lucky then....(stomach of steel) :o) . But I did want to say that stomach problems can occur with low doses too and especially long term dosing. My almost 12 yr old daughter and I both take low doses, me .25 of Dex and her 12.5mg of Cortef total per day.

There are many that have developed ulcers and Barrett’s esophagus from their steroids. I have came across a few that have had the lining of their stomach eaten away and are going through a horrible time. So for the rest of us it would be better for us to take the necessary precautions. I also wanted to add that I have also come across a few women with stomach cancers after taking  steroids for many years, don’t know if there is a connection there though. Anyway take care, I hope your luck lasts forever :o)
