I would agree with that!  I remember when my son was a baby his paediatrician told me that in time I would know more about his illness and how to treat him than he did.  I remember feeling quite frightened and sceptical at the time but now know what he meant.  Mothers instinct is a wonderful thing!  As for a possible cure for CAH - I am sure it is what we all dream of and hope for.
