Thank you all for taking the time to answear my call for help and for your words of encouragement.

I’d like to fill you in on some details. 

We have picked a surgeon - Dr. Dix Poppas and we see Dr. Karen Su who works under Dr. New.  My daughter has started taking Cortef 5mg in the morn and 10mg at night.  Am I imagining things - her face looks chubbier?  Have any of you experienced this?

We’re getting a prescription for Solu-Cortef along with an emergency letter from Dr. Su.  I hope I never have to use them!

As of now I don’t have a date for surgery since I’m going for radiology work up on January 21st.  Then my husband, myself and the doctors will determine when to have it done.  

I have to tell you guys a site like this is god sent.  Between the give and take and the information I’m picking up on others ’conversations’ is just incredible!!  It’s a lot more info than any doctor can give you.
