Questions for Adults with CAH

I have several concerns and questions.  My husband was treated as a child for adrenal hypoplasia in the960’s.  He stopped all treatment in his late 20’s - early 30’s.  Now - his adrenal glands are tumorous (one measuring 22cm)  One doctor says cancerous, the endocrinologist says maybe not.  He still must face a battery of tests.  I want to know if there are others in situations similar to his.  Can starting treatment "fix" some of the damage done (ie - infertility, etc.)?  He stopped treatments because they were so hard on his stomach.  Has treatment improved in the last 15 years?

I am so scared for him. Any help would be appreciated.
