I had been on Dex for about 7 years before I found out through this site that I needed to be stressed dosed or to have solucortef ready. I had a few surgeries without it, I also went off steroids during my second pregnancy, (first one we didn’t know yet) . I have mine in the kitchen cabinet though. I don’t like to carry a purse, unless I’m going shopping.I’m a girly girl, but I hate clutterness...and purses are the worse..full of everything and nothing that you REALLY need so bad you have to have it hanging off your arm all the time..I realize thats rambling..sorry...anyway lots of us come here to learn more than the docs ever told us :o)
