Kathy - I had been having flank pain as well when my doc ordered the CT scan of my adrenals - they injected dye and took pictures - they found nothing abnormal. The pain eventually went away on its own ( I’ve had it off and on over the years) It may have to do with the dosage of steroids I was taking - who knows - I developed Rosacea on my face from being oversupressed (red cheeks, pimple like bumps and eventually lots of broken blood vessels)- and it didnt go away till I had two laser surgeries and drastically reduced my Dexamethasone. I dont have any more problems with it - completely gone. So I dont know - I wonder at times just what price we pay with these dang steroids - we have to have them but there sure are side effects!
