Some of these docs think what they have a person on is just replacement. When MOST of the time a newbie shows up they are usually on too high of a dose and suffering miserably. I did for 7 years. So yeah if a person goes years and years ESPECIALLY on too high of a dose, only God knows what is going to happen to them. I have stated in an earlier post that, although I feel great now....who knows what horrible toll the steroids will have on me in the future. I don’t wanna go scaring people but our heart is one big muscle, and certain steroids like Dex and Pred waste muscle. They say large doses used long term only. But how do they know what long term low doses can do? (supposedly low doses) Anyway ...I would rather be who I am with it then to live my life without it. I may be sacrificing some older years of my life just to have a "normal" life.  Who knows.
