My entire family sleeps with the windows open (even during winter).  My brother, who is not a carrier as far as we know, even has the fan running with the window open during winter.

My daughter, CAH - 5-1/2, gets hot while she sleeps, even without the heat on and window open.  She has decided to sleep naked, and I can’t say that I blame her.  We live in Seattle, with fairly mild weather.  I get hot also and always have the windows wide open.  My parents do too (my side of the family always jokes and says we are descendants of Elvis, who apparently liked the room freezing cold when he slept.)  If your nose isn’t cold when you wake up, the room is too hot.  We like to be warm in bed and have good comforters, but the air must be cold!

My husband (carrier) complains that our daughter and I freeze him out.  Go figure.

When my daughter was 1 month old, we thought she was colicky.  Looking back, I think she was probably just hot.
