Cassy,

I have an 11.5 month old SWCAH son named Connor.  He had severe Acid reflux when he was younger and was on liquid Zantac.  We were told to give it to him 30 mins before meals.  He took it 2 times a day and hated it because it was so minty. We would just make sure we had a syringe ready with either juice or water to rinse his mouth out. I was never told not to give it with his Cortef, but I never thought about it.  There has got to be an easier way for you to get meds in her without doing it every 2 hours.  Do you separate all your doses of Cortef and Florinef?  Maybe you’ll want to give her those 2 at the same time.  I know it’s hard when the kids have acid reflux.  We used to have to hold Connor still for 30 mins after his meds were given because he would spit those up.

Email me if you’d like
