re: Tubes in ears (7 months SWCAH)

Laura,

I am a 38 yr. old female with 17 hydroxylase CAH and had tubes in my ears before I was diagnosed and made it through fine. I was diagnosed in 6th grade and also had some minor surgeries since then. All they do is increase the dosage so the body can handle the stress. The Dr. should know how much to increase depending on weight and what she takes now. It is always worrisome when your child goes through any type of surgery. Our son also had tubes, but he does not have CAH. It only takes about 15 min. by the time they take her in till she wakes up. We had a wonderful Dr. too. Good Luck.

Kathy
