AnonI am looking forward to becoming pregnant again but I’m having a difficult time deciding whether to go for prenatal treatment. From all that I’ve read research seems sound. It doesn’t appear to hold any serious risks, but yet... Nineteen years for a study of this sort is a short period to determine all that will come out of it in the future. What do I know if it really won’t leave damage on the baby that will only surface in thirty years from now. None of the children who where treated prenatally had their own children yet and there is still so much more to consider in areas that the specialists wouldn’t be able to for tell in a nineteen year old. Maybe it would be safer to take the long route of a one in eight chance of having a virilized girl. I’m apprehensive. I read much about the pros but never came across the cons. Would anybody out there share with me what they know about the risks of prenatal treatment?
