My 7 year old SWCAH son weighs 54 lbs and just had his IM dosage increased from 50 mg to 100 mg.  This is what we are to give for injections during emergencies. 

My questions are:

does this seem high compared to your kids?

he has to have his adenoids removed, so will the anesthesioligist give him the same 100mg in the IV?
