Hi! I have just found this website! It is great. I have three kids. My two sons have sw cah. They are 12 and 8. When my oldest son was born we had no idea anything was wrong. He was dying and admitted to a hospital for failure to thrive after he was two weeks old. Then they could not find out what was wrong. Another week and he was sent to another hospital. He has never grown right. Some endo’s say it was because of the delayed treatment. They think maybe his pit. gland was stunned. He has been taking gowth hormone shots for a few years now. It helps some but not what we were hoping for. My other son is right were he is supposed to be. Has anyone had anything similar happen to them? My son is not even on the growth chart. He is frustrated by it and I am at a loss as to what to do.
