As I answered to Sandra - we went off of meds a couple of years ago.  It’s hard for me to remember exact details, yet the experience I will never forget.  I do know that we lowered the dose for a short while.  My son was very moody anyway, but no real changes stand out in my mind.  I do think he just felt better.  It’s taken him 2 years, but he is finally making some progress in losing and firming up all of the weight he gained (90 lbs) while on cortef.  When he would get sick I  think I was told to double his dose.   Has your endo ever talked about once your daughter reaches puberty she will be able to go off of her medicine or will she be on it for life?
