We were told that the solu-cortef injection buys you about 6 hours.  We haven’t had to give Loghyn (9 mths SWCAH) an injection yet **knock knock** but we’ve been told by our endo to call her immediately AFTER giving it and we’ll discuss whether we need to go to the ER or not.  As far as stress dosing goes, we were told to double the amount & give it 4x’s a day instead of 2.  Of course, talk to your endo about how they want to handle emergencies so that you’re both on the same wave-length.  And as alway, it’s better to give it than not!!  Don’t ever let anyone tell you you’re being a paranoid mother . . . paranoia could save a life in this case!  I tell my hubby that all the time . . . I’m the worrier in the family!!  haha!!  :o)

Take care!
