I just used a coated gerber spoon, right from the beginning. I put a drop of water on it and then put the pill on it. It dissolves. I hold my baby cradle style or even sitting in his bouncy. I open his little mouth and stick the spoon in. When I pull the spoon out, I swipe it on his top gum to get any cortef left on the spoon. He never spits it out. He is 5 weeks old. I used this with my  now 2 1/2 yr old. When my 1st CAH son was around 7 or 8 months he just took the pill and chewed or gummed it. He likes the taste of it and (knock on wood) he has never refused to take it. Now he actually says," me first".
