Tara - Cody has to take florinef and cortef because of the SWCAH. They are both a steriod but not the same thing.

Cody has had his dosages changes since he was 2 wks old. When an infant we were giving him pure sodium cloride. Then as he got older we started the florinef. The endo has never changed the florinef dosages!!!! At present and being 7 yrs old this is his dosages at this time. We went to the ped. last week and the endo last week for his regular check ups. THey did his blood work to test his levels and also xrays for the bone growth. His bone growth is excellent. Haven’t got the results back yet from blood work. I explained to the endo about everything everyone is saying about CAH and headaches related BUT she does not believe that!!!!!!!! We are having another appt. with the ped. to do somethings and then I guess he is sending us to a neuroligst (can’t spell that).  The endo did say try splitting the florinef to 1/2 in am and 1/2 in pm. Because I was telling about some others doing that. She said try it!! Like we need to experiment. I know everyone is different and different things work for others. But its like no one wants to take on this headache thing. Thanks for all your help.
