RistyIf you meant the 170hp levels, from what I recall, values in healthy children are around 40 but in children with CAH they aim to have it under 1000. What exactly they are looking for depends on what levels the child will respond best and probably also on the doctor. Your daughter didn’t start out with a very elevated 170hp. I don’t think it will take long to reach her goal but it might take a few month to adjust the exact amount of treatment.
From your post below I realize that you are from NY. Which endocrinologist do you see here?
I never tried applying for ssi, but from what I learned from more than one source, NY doesn’t consider CAH as an handicap. I believe that now, when times are so trying it will be even harder to work anything out.
