My experience was a good one. I had some side effects after I stopped the dex cold turkey. Yes, I gained more weight than my other three pregnancies (no dex) but then again, the dex was not twisting my arm making me eat chocolate cake etc....!!  The side effects I had after stopping the dex were anxiety, really bad migraines and of course some more weight gain.  They subsided a few months later.

If I had to do it over again, I would take the dex again. I had a little boy! He is the cutest little thing!  My family and I are absolutely in love with him. He weighed 9 pounds 3 oz. He is now 11pds 9oz!! He does have SVCAH like my 2 1/2 yr old. Feel free to email me if you have any more questions.
