Wondering if anyone could tell me if either their children/selves are prone to unusual rashes, particularly during periods of non-steroid treatment such as: before they were diagnosed with CAH OR at those times they may have been undersuppressed OR for any periods of time when they/you were non-compliant with taking their/your meds???

This question has come up, as I’ve just been diagnosed as being a heterozygote carrier (deletion)for another severe medical condition. I’m trying to piece together, whether some of the unusual symptoms I have had all my life, which have puzzled me immensely, are related to this other condition, or to CAH.

Of course, all the medical sources including genetic counsellors, say that "carriers do not have symptoms" and as a number of CAH carriers have experienced, that simply does not seem to be true, in ALL cases.
