my son was not diagnosed swcah until he was 2 months old. In that undiagnosed period he had red rashes allover his body from head to legs. Doctors used to say he had allergy.we stopped using soap, powder, cream, hairoil etc. We used to apply cream medicine which helped.Now we  use soap etc. on his body withot any problem.
